Happy Wednesday, friends! I’ve been studying abit more at home these last couple of days as with exams looming, the library is ridiculously packed out- ironic, isn’t it? All semester its empty, 2 weeks before final exams and its a fight to get a seat. Seeing as I’ve been constantly consuming food out of tupperware, I thought it’d be a change to show meals I’ve eaten recently NOT out of plastic goodness! Thank you, Jen, for the mid week party- Be sure to stop by and give your eyes a mouthwatering workout!
Cinnamon roll protein oat bran- Oat bran cooked in sea salt and almond milk, mixed with egg whites, a whole egg, cinnamon, cinnamon roll protein powder and flaxmeal.
Hidden greens sweet and salty oatmeal– This time topped with almond butter…I’ve been getting more and more heavy handed with the almond butter. Time to bribe mother dearest to whip up a new batch!
Cinnamon apple cottage cheese bowl- A microwaved pink lady apple with cinnamon, mixed with cottage cheese, more cinnamon and topped with roasted, salted almonds.
Roasted kabocha and chicken salad- Roasted kabocha, broccoli, zucchini, chicken, cucumber and spanish stuffed olives.
Simple lunch- two slices of toast with vegemite and smashed avocado with a side of cold rotisserie chicken. This is a bold statement, but that was the BEST avocado I have had to date.
Paleo chicken nuggets- Last week Meredien posted about eating amazing sounding chicken nuggets without all the store bought fillers- she kindly posted the recipe a day later….make them. They are amazing.
Go to your kitchen and make the chicken nuggets, STAT. Paired with sriracha and extra buffalo sauce..no words.

Have you ever put a whole egg into your oats? It doesn’t change the texture too differently to just egg whites just a slightly richer taste!
What is the quickest its ever taken you to go through a jar of nut butter? My mum’s homemade almond butter is on its last few servings….damn the heavy hand!
Are you a fan of olives? I hated them as a kid to the point of refusing pizza if one single slice was on it. Now- polar opposite.
