New year, back to basics.
I thought last year that I would stop doing What I Ate Wednesday posts but I think every so often, I do enjoy showcasing a full day because I hope to make eating brownies for breakfast mainstream.
Okay fine. Hi 5’s, touchdowns and big props to Jenn for hosting!
Breakfast- I’ve made three batches of these Greek Yogurt Chocolate Brownies purely for the purpose of eating them for breakfast. Instead of eggs, I had some leftover rotisserie chicken. Sweet and savoury = my standard meal.
Lunch- Was eaten in two parts.
Part 1- Six Paleo Thanksgiving Meatballs with roasted zucchini and three carrots about to go bad.
Part 2- The smoothie/ice cream hybrid you saw on Sunday in honour of Amanda. This needs to be recreated but let’s just say I don’t hate bananas anymore.

Snack- A new twist on my Microwave English Muffin with butter.
I added poppy seeds, pumpkin seeds and sesame seeds and it was texture crazy. Actually, looking back on the add ins, it’s like bird food in a muffin.

Dinner- It’s Summer here and I don’t feel like anything hot for dinner. I combined this basmati rice with shredded rotisserie chicken, carrots and celery and mixed it all with soy sauce and sesame seeds. It was eaten cold which made it that much more awesome.
Snack- Cottage cheese is back in my life and I’m not hating it. There was a special at the supermarket so I picked some up so had half a tub with a few spoons of peanut butter and it sent me to slumber.
Just kidding, it was insanely hot and I couldn’t sleep properly.
