An easy recipe for healthy paleo vegan brownies drizzled with a healthy homemade Nutella (chocolate hazelnut) spread! Made with almond flour and completely eggless, these Nutella brownies are super fudgy and gooey! They are also keto, dairy free, low carb and sugar free.
Prepare your flax 'egg' by combining your water and with ground flaxseed. Allow sitting for 10 minutes, to form a gel.
Preheat the oven to 180C/350F. Line an 8 x 8-inch pan with parchment paper and set aside.
In a large mixing bowl, combine your dry ingredients and mix well. In a seperate bowl, combine your flax egg, vanilla extract, almond butter and 1/4 cup of the homemade Nutella. Mix well. Combine your wet and dry ingredients and mix until combined.
Transfer the brownie batter to the lined pan and spread out in an even layer. Bake the brownies for 35-40 minutes, until the edges start to crisp and a skewer comes out the center 'just' clean.
Remove brownies from the oven and allow to cool in the pan completely. Drizzle with remaining Nutella and slice into 12 pieces.
