Thick and soft chocolate chip cookies made with Tesla inspired chocolate chips! Large, thin chocolate chips are guaranteed to yield perfectly melted chocolate in these cookies!
In a large mixing bowl, combine your sugars, butter, and vanilla extract, and mix until combined and glossy.
Gently add in the flour, baking soda, and salt, and mix well. Fold through your chocolate chips. Cover the dough and refrigerate for 30 minutes.
Preheat the oven to 180C/350F. Line a large baking sheet or cookie sheet with parchment paper.
Form 6 large or 12 small balls of dough and place them on the baking sheet. Bake for 15-17 minutes, or until just done.
Remove from the oven and let cool on the sheet for 20 minutes, before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
