Have a boost of caffeine and the taste of dessert with these tiramisu flavoured roasted almonds! Quick, easy and deceptively nutritious, they are the perfect snack or sweet treat to have on hand! Naturally gluten free, paleo, sugar free and vegan!
Preheat your oven to 180 degrees Celsius. Spread out your almonds on a large baking tray and bake for 10-12 minutes, stirring occasionally. Remove from oven and allow to cool completely.
In a large bowl, combine the dark cocoa powder, dutch processed cocoa powder, sweetener of choice and sea salt and mix well.
Lightly spray the almonds and pour it into the cocoa mixture. Mix very well, until almonds are fully coated. Remove and store in an airtight container and enjoy!
Notes
You will probably end up with more of the 'tiramisu' dry mixture. If you don't pre spray the almonds, you'll find them the cocoa to be more messy when consuming (they stick but they are more crumbly).
