Instructions
In a saucepan, add your oil and minced garlic and place it over medium heat. Let the garlic fry for 2-3 minutes, until fragrant.
Add the remaining ingredients to the pan and cover. Allow the sauce to simmer for 20 minutes.
Remove the pan from the heat and allow the sauce to cool completely.
Notes
TO STORE: Leftover sauce can be stored in the refrigerator, covered. It will keep well for at least 2 weeks. TO FREEZE: Place the sauce in a freezer friendly jar and store it in the freezer for up to 6 months.
