My family adores this 2 ingredient BBQ tofu. It yields crispy and fluffy tofu every single time. Watch the video below to see how I make it in my kitchen!
Slice tofu into one-inch thick slices and place in a plastic container. Add the barbecue sauce and turn the container upside down to coat both sides.
Heat a grill over high heat. Once hot, lightly coat with oil and add the tofu. Cook for 3 minutes before flipping and cooking for another 3 minutes, or until golden and crispy.

Baked BBQ tofu. Preheat the oven to 350F/180C and line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Place the seasoned tofu on the sheet and bake for 40 minutes, flipping halfway through. Pan-seared BBQ tofu. Heat oil in a skillet over high heat. Once hot, sear the tofu for 3-5 minutes, then flip and cook for another 2-3 minutes or until warm and crispy. Air fryer BBQ tofu. Place the seasoned tofu in a lined air fryer basket and air fry at 350F for 4-5 minutes, flipping halfway through.TO STORE: Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for 4-5 days. TO FREEZE: Let the tofu cool, place it in a freezer safe container, and freeze for up to 6 months. TO REHEAT: Reheat the tofu in a skillet over medium heat or in an air fryer at 325F for 4-5 minutes.
