Notes
TO STORE: Store cooked asparagus in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 3-4 days. TO FREEZE: Store leftovers in a freezer-safe container and freeze for up to 3 months. Let them thaw overnight in the fridge, or add more reheating time.TO REHEAT: Reheat leftover asparagus in the oven at 350F/175C for 7-8 minutes or in the air fryer at 375F/190C for 2-3 minutes or until warm.Variations
Garnish with fresh herbs, like parsley, basil, or cilantro, depending on what you’re serving as the main course.
Fresh lemon and parmesan. Top the asparagus with fresh lemon juice and grated parmesan cheese.
Balsamic vinegar. If you enjoy my balsamic glazed Brussels sprouts, get a similar flavor by drizzling balsamic glaze over the cooked asparagus.
Add spices. Sprinkle garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, or a dash of red pepper flakes for some heat.
