Add the frozen broccoli into a mixing bowl. Toss through the olive oil, then add the sugar, salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes, if using.
Add the broccoli to the air fryer basket and cook for 10 minutes, shaking several times throughout.
Remove the broccoli from the air fryer basket and serve immediately.

TO STORE: Put leftover cooked broccoli in an airtight container and store it in the fridge for 5-7 days. TO FREEZE: Place the cooked and cooled broccoli in a ziplock bag and store it in the freezer for up to six months. TO REHEAT: Reheat in a preheated oven or air fryer until warm.Recipe variations
