These air fryer hamburgers are tender, juicy, and flavorful and take half the time of grilling! They are easy to customize and a hit amongst both kids and adults! Watch the video belowto see how I make this in my kitchen.
In a mixing bowl, add the ground beef, grated onion, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, pepper, and Worcestershire sauce. Gently mix until fully incorporated.
Shape the mixture into four hamburger patties. Press down the center of each patty.
Grease an air fryer basket and place the four patties in it. Air fry for 4 minutes per side, for a total of 8 minutes.
Add a slice of cheese onto each patty and air fry for another minute. Remove the burgers once they reach your desired level of doneness (see the notes)/.
Let the hamburger patties rest for a minute or two before assembling them into burgers.

Notes
TO STORE: Place leftover patties in an airtight container and store in the refrigerator for 3-4 days. TO FREEZE: Put the cooked and cooled burger patties in a freezer-safe bag and store in the freezer for up to 3 months. Hamburger cooking temperatures-Use a meat thermometer to check the doneness of the burgers. Insert the thermometer into the center of each patty.
Rare: 115 to 120°F
Medium-Rare: 120 to 125°F
Medium: 130 to 135°F
Medium-Well: 140 to 145°F
Well-Done: 150 to 155°F
Feel free to substitute beef for ground turkey or chicken. You can even make my wagyu burgers or lamb burgers in the air fryer instead.
