These truly crispy baked chicken wings are a family favorite. They are seasoned perfectly and so juicy in the middle. Watch the video below to see how I make it in my kitchen!
Preheat the oven to 200C/400F. Line a baking pan with a baking sheet.
Combine the baking powder, salt, garlic, onion, paprika, pepper, chili, and sugar in a bowl. Toss the wings with the spice rub until they’re coated.
Arrange the wings in a baking pan and drizzle with oil.
Bake for 35 minutes or until they reach an internal temperature of 165F.

TO STORE: Store the cooled wings in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 4 days. TO FREEZE: Let the wings cool completely, place them in a freezer bag, and freeze them for up to 3 months. TO REHEAT: Bake the wings at 350F/175C for 5-6 minutes or until warm. Alternatively, you can air fry them at 375F/190C for 4-5 minutes.VARIATIONSAdd more heat. If you like spicy wings, add cayenne pepper or a few dashes of hot sauce. Add extra seasonings. Dried Italian herbs, mustard powder, minced garlic, or parmesan cheese can completely transform their flavor.Toss the wings in a sauce. After they’re done baking, toss them in sugar-free BBQ sauce or hot honey sauce to impart more flavor.Serve the wings with carrots and celery sticks, plus sauces to dip, like blue cheese dressing or buffalo sauce.
