Air Fryer S’mores

My air fryer s’mores are my family’s favorite hack for enjoying this campfire staple all year round. They’re easy to make, need only three ingredients, and turn out crispy, gooey, and chocolatey. Bonus? They take just three minutes.

Why I love this air fryer s’mores recipe

Air fryer s’mores came from a desperate need to satisfy my family’s s’mores cravings- because let’s face it, you can’t break out the campfire every night. I started experimenting with the air fryer, and it turns out, it’s perfect: the graham crackers stay crisp, and the chocolate and marshmallows melt together into gooey perfection.
Now, we can have s’mores any night of the week! They’re easy to customize- use any crackers or chocolate you have on hand. I even made them for friends in Australia with Digestive cookies and Wheat Thins. Bonus? Cleanup is as easy as tossing out the parchment paper at the end.
Key ingredients
Find the printable recipe with measurements below.
- Graham crackers. I’m a sucker for classic Graham crackers, but you could use chocolate graham crackers or gingersnaps if that’s what you have on hand.
- Marshmallows. They’ll need to be sliced in half so the sticky end adheres to the cracker.
- Milk chocolate. I used Hershey’s milk chocolate bars, but you can use dark chocolate or white chocolate if you prefer.
How to make air fryer s’mores

Step 1- Prep. Place four crackers in the basket. Add marshmallow halves on each cracker.

Step 2- Air fry the crackers and marshmallows until the marshmallows have slightly melted.

Step 3- Assemble. Place one piece of chocolate on each marshmallow. Allow it to melt slightly.

Step 4- Place a cracker on top, and pinch to stick the s’more together.
Recipe tips and variations
- Line the basket with parchment paper. This is my #1 tip. Sometimes marshmallows melt a little quicker and seep over the crackers, so try lining the air fryer with parchment paper for a cleaner result.
- Keep the Graham crackers apart. Once the marshmallows warm up, they expand and can stick to each other if they are too close together.
- Place the sticky side of the marshmallow down on top of the graham cracker so it sticks. I forgot to do this once, and the hot air circulating blew the marshmallows off the crackers.
- Use marshmallow fluff instead. I know this may be blasphemy to some, but I find using fluff can be a bit less messy than using whole marshmallows.
- Mix-ins. Add banana slices, fresh strawberries, Nutella, or caramel for more flavor.
- Use different chocolates. Instead of plain chocolate squares, use candy bars. I made s’mores with a Reese’s peanut butter cup once, and let me say, life-changing!

I love these! I was scared the marshmallows would fall off in the air fryer but it was fine. So gooey and delicious.
This is so much better than using the stove top. What a great idea!
