My favorite ways to use cottage cheese

Cottage cheese is making a comeback, and I am here for it! I love eating it plain, but it’s easy to incorporate into everyday meals to add protein, creaminess, or a combination of both. Per half-cup serving, there are 14 grams of protein and very few carbs and fat.
Below, you’ll find my top recipes with cottage cheese that everyone will adore. Each of these recipes works with any cottage cheese (full-fat, low-fat, or non-fat), and I promise you, you won’t be able to taste it.

Snacks and sides

Most cottage cheese flatbread recipes don’t use flour, but mine does. This is because it looks and tastes like flatbread. These make fabulous quesadillas, sandwiches, or even tortilla pizza.

Frequently asked questions
You’ll notice that I suggest whipped cottage cheese in most of my recipes. This completely removes lumps or curds and has a texture identical to yogurt.
While I’m yet to find something similar in consistency and nutrition, non-fat Greek yogurt is the best alternative to use in any of the above recipes.
I prefer Good Culture or Daisy’s cottage cheese, but use any brand that you enjoy the taste of.
