When I’m on a sugar free diet, the only thing that can keep me motivated is knowing I can still enjoy a healthy dessert every now and then.
I know coming up with sugar free desserts that taste good can be a task easier said than done. Luckily, I’ve been experimenting for years, so I’ve managed to come up with quite a few.

What makes a good sugar free dessert?
The concept of sugar free desserts can seem counterintuitive, but if you know what to look for, it’s quite simple. Here are some tips for coming up with the perfect sugar free dessert:
- Know your sweeteners. Not all natural or artificial sweeteners work the same, so it’s important to know what a good substitute is for your favorite desserts. For example, I prefer allulose or a brown sugar substitute (or powdered sugar substitute) l as a white sugar substitute, while liquid monk fruit is my favorite liquid sweetener.
- Enhance flavors. Believe it or not, adding certain spices or extracts, like cinnamon, nutmeg, or vanilla extract, to desserts can help give the allusion of sweetness.
- Take advantage of natural sweeteners. Fruit-sweetened desserts have the benefit of being naturally sweetened with no “fake sugar” aftertaste, so next time you’re craving chocolate brownies, try sweetening them with applesauce.
Sugar free chocolate desserts
I could never follow a diet that didn’t allow for chocolate. Luckily, these recipes allow me to satisfy my chocolate craving while being completely guilt-free.

Ice cream and frozen treats
When I have a craving for ice cream, nothing else will satisfy. Each recipe is free of refined sugar and won’t spike your blood sugar levels, yet they don’t compromise on flavor.
- Pudding– After one bite, you’ll never buy the store-bought sugar free puddings again.

Arman,, Thank you for your web site. I can only eat organic, Non GMO. I appreciate the recipes you have on your site because the ingredients in most recipes are what I can eat.
