My homemade keto gummies are made with 3 ingredients and taste EXACTLY like regular gummies, just with zero added sugar and zero guilt. 1 gram of net carbs per serving.

As kids, we’d each get to pick our own candy at the theater. My sister would usually get something with chocolate, but me? It was gummy bears all the way!
Sadly, gummy bears are like 99% sugar, so they’d definitely kick you out of ketosis. That’s where my sugar-free gummies come in. They’re as soft, chewy, and fruity as regular gummy bears, just sans added sugar.

Why I love this recipe
- Only 3 ingredients. And one of those is literally water…
- Endless ways to customize. As many flavors of sugar-free Jello you can find–that’s how many gummy flavors you can make.
- They take minutes to make. Just combine the ingredients and pour them into your bear molds. Half an hour in the fridge, and they’re ready to enjoy!
- Healthier. They’re sugar-free, low-carb, and low-calorie. This means they’ll help with weight loss, AND they won’t spike your blood sugar levels.
Ingredients needed
- Sugar-free Jello mix. I used raspberry, lime, orange, and peach, but go ahead and use whatever flavors you want!
- Unflavored gelatin. Thickens the gummy bears and keeps them firm at room temperature.
- Water. You’ll need boiling hot water.
How to make keto gummies
I’ve included step-by-step photos below to make this recipe easy to follow at home. For the full printable recipe instructions and ingredient quantities, scroll to the recipe card at the bottom of this post.
Step 1- Mix dry ingredients. Set out 4 bowls and add 1 jello packet to each, plus 2 envelopes of gelatin. Set the gummy bear molds onto a lined baking sheet.
Step 2- Add water. Pour boiling water into each bowl and whisk to combine.
Step 3- Pour into molds. Use a liquid dropper to portion the mixture into the bear molds.
Step 4- Chill. Refrigerate the molds for 20-30 minutes. Then, pop out the gummies and enjoy!
Arman’s recipe tips
- Make them vegan. Swap the gelatin for agar agar and refer to the directions on the box for instructions on how to use it.
- Adjust the sweetness. Taste the gummy bear mixture and add granulated sweetener (I prefer allulose) until it suits your taste buds.
- Let them chill overnight. If possible, I find letting the bears firm up overnight yields the best texture.
Variations
- Make sour gummy bears. Add 1-2 tablespoons of a sugar-free powdered drink mix, like Kool-Aid. If I go this route, I like to toss the bears in granulated sweetener.
- Give them a health boost. Add 1-2 tablespoons of a sugar-free electrolyte mix (like sugar-free Liquid IV) or unflavored collagen. I made electrolyte gummies the other day and I SWEAR my headache immediately disappeared!
- Make apple cider gummies. Swap ⅓ of the water for raw apple cider vinegar. I find this gives them a more tart flavor–and it helps alleviate nausea and stomach problems.
- Add natural extracts, like lemon extract or vanilla extract, for added flavor.
Storage instructions
To store: These gummy bears should be kept in an airtight container in the fridge for a few weeks.
To freeze: Place the gummies in a shallow container or ziplock bag and store them in the freezer for up to 6 months.
Frequently asked questions

Wooow! This is actually very easy to make. I want for the first time!
Thank you for sending me recipes. All of them are great!
Where did you find sugar free pineapple jello? Thanks
The brand is aeroplane jelly.
Curious if anyone has added an electrolyte powder to these. Would they set up right? I was thinking strawberry jello with some salted watermelon LMNT sounded amazing. I want something that I can use like Clif Blocks etc.
Thiis looks like a great recipe. If I make it with all four flavors, what constitutes a serving?
Divide everything by 4!
I followe the recipe exactly. These things are amazing!
