Snacking. Summer. Oven.

Which one of those is the odd one out? You read that correct, the oven.

Being in the northern hemisphere, the thought of turning on the oven sounds as appealing as chocolate cake made of artificial sweeteners (Aka- Not appealing to me at all. If a chocolate cake made of artificial sweeteners sounds appealing to you, I have no qualms!)

If you’ve been around here for a while or even in recent times, you’ll notice that I’ve kind of got a think for ‘no bake’ recipes.

I just can’t help it- I think of flavours, combinations, desserts and think up ways I can create a no bake recipe out of it. As much as I’d like to say that I’m going to change things up and create other things, I’m not. These recipes are fulfilling the requests from readers for easy recipes, no bake recipes and recipes which fit those following various diets or lifestyles (Paleo, gluten free, low carb, vegan etc)

    I neglect the oven but only because the grill is on duty in the summer months 😉

  2. Really love the roundup! I definitely think you can become just as addicted to creating dessert recipes as to eating them! Lately I’ve been all about the treats 🙂 Happy 4th! And I second Linsday that you need a no bake cookbook ASAP!

  3. Holy cow, so many options!! I want all of these in my belly. I don’t neglect my oven in the summers because homemade pizza is appropriate any time of the year. Niki can come to my house for pizza night.

  4. Wow Arman, while putting all of your recipes in one place seemingly makes things easier, it actually makes deciding what to create so much harder. All the treats… so little time… impatient appetite ;).

  6. I am so happy to find these no bake recipes.being a busy mom and trying to lose weight,plus balancing life leaves very little time for baking.These are lifesavers.
    However we have a nut allergy and I want to keep things paleo/lowcarb,so what can use instead of nut butters in your recipes of bars and ball?
    Also I would love to see some no bake (or at least microwave )recipes for crackers.One thing I cheat on my diet is crackers esp when I am sick I haven’t found a good quick cracker recipe that is paleo/lowcarb and quick.
