I’m not going to lie. I’m a bit of a snacking connoisseur. But I try to find recipes that allow me to snack all day without ruining my appetite or throwing me off my diet. That’s where this roundup of the best snacks under 200 calories comes in.
To make sense of the hundreds of snack recipes I’ve developed over the years, I made a roundup of some of my (and your) favorites. This list has everything from salty to sweet, vegan to keto, and everything in between.
Table of Contents
Why 200 calories?
- It’s the perfect portion. A 200 calorie snack is just enough to actually keep you full without weighing you down and messing up your routine.
- Great for any time of day. 200 calories isn’t usually going to break the bank, so you can graze even when you’re bored or have a craving, and it won’t set you back.
- They keep you on track. Nothing’s worse than being hungry all day, only to fill up on whatever’s around. A little midday snack will prevent you from overdoing it on junk food, plus you’re more likely to stay on your diet if you indulge every now and then.

Snacks to sneak in your fruits and veggies
As much as I love fresh fruit and veggies as a low-calorie snack, sometimes I need something more captivating than an apple or crudités. These snacks help sneak in your daily dose of fruits and veggies, all while curbing your hunger and keeping you on track.

As you know, we’ve been counting calories over here…and cutting out sweets has been one of the hardest parts! (Well, that and macaroni + cheese…) Love this collection here, Arman. I remember seeing these come out originally, but it’s great to have them all collected in one place for easy reference. Hope the holidays have been treating you well, mate!
