If I can’t have dessert while dieting, I know it’s not going to last long.
That’s why I’ve spent years coming up with keto dessert recipes. Don’t get me wrong, it’s been quite the task, as there’s always the fear that they won’t turn out as good as their traditional versions. But I’ve honed my skills, and now I prefer many of my keto desserts to the non-keto ones!

Tips for making keto desserts
It’s easy to get stuck in a routine and make the same one or two desserts on repeat, but it’s always better to switch it up and keep things interesting. Here are some tips for thinking up new keto-friendly treats:
- Have substitutes ready to go. I’m talking keto sweeteners, staples, you name it. That way, when the inspiration strikes, you have everything on hand.
- Keep it simple. Try desserts that you’re already familiar with so you have a good idea of what to expect. Then you can get more creative with elaborate treats (like my keto trifle!).
- Plan ahead. Most of my keto desserts can be made in double batches, so you can freeze the leftovers and enjoy them all week long.
No-bake keto desserts
I probably turn to no-bake desserts more than any other kind because they’re made with simple ingredients and offer that instant gratification my sweet tooth craves.
- No bake keto cheesecake– Cheesecakes have gotten a bad rap for being difficult, but my no-bake version is anything but.
- Keto no bake cookies– All you need is coconut flour, peanut butter, and a little keto maple syrup, and you can have soft and decadent cookies ready in minutes.
- Keto fat bombs– What exactly are fat bombs? They’re decadent one-bite treats that are high in healthy fats and low in carbs. When those 3 PM hunger cravings strike, you better believe I’m reaching for these!
- Keto key lime pie– Made with a buttery keto pie crust, creamy key lime pie filling, and delicate whipped cream topping, this is one for the books!
- Keto edible cookie dough– Nothing is more comforting than a massive bowl of edible cookie dough–nothing.
- Keto peanut butter cups– Made with 3 basic ingredients, these bad boys are infinitely better than you know who.
Keto cakes & pies
I’ve been known to make an elaborate layered cake on a whim, especially when they’re this easy.
- Keto birthday cake– I use almond flour AND coconut flour, giving this cake maximum bounce and the perfect crumb.
- Keto coffee cake– Featuring my homemade keto brown sugar, this coffee cake is truly divine. All that’s missing is your espresso!
- Keto lemon pound cake– What I love most about this cake is that you can add as much or as little lemon flavor as you desire. Prefer no lemon at all? Make my keto pound cake instead!
- Keto strawberry cake– Moist, fluffy, and bursting with fresh strawberry flavor, all for just 3 grams of net carbs.
- Keto cupcakes– I’m a sucker for the base vanilla recipe, but I also included instructions for making chocolate, red velvet, chocolate chip, and lemon cupcakes, too.
- Keto mug cake– Ready in one (literally, one) minute. Don’t forget the keto whipped cream!
Keto chocolate desserts
We’re a household of chocolate lovers, so having a running list of chocolate recipes on hand is a must.
- Keto chocolate cookies– Of all my keto cookie recipes, this one is by far the most requested. Even your non-keto friends will love them!
- Keto chocolate mousse– Light, airy, and full of rich chocolate flavor, this chocolate mousse is a no-brainer.
- Keto brownies– The day I went keto, the first thing I did was learn how to make the perfect keto brownie. You guys, I think I nailed it.
- Keto chocolate cake– Trust me, no one will believe this cake is low-carb, especially when you serve it with keto ice cream.
- Keto pudding– If you grew up on chocolate pudding as a kid, you’ll love this sugar-free version.
- Keto fudge– Combine sugar-free chocolate chips and peanut butter, and you’ve got the most decadent fudge recipe ever.
- Keto milkshake– I’ll be honest, I actually prefer this to my OG milkshake recipe.
Keto cookies & bars
I tend to bake a lot when I’m on a diet, and keto cookies are great because I can share them or store them in the freezer for weeks to come.
- Keto chocolate chip cookies– If you need a keto cookie recipe that does NOT taste sugar-free, you’re going to want to make these cookies.
- Keto pecan pie bars– Basically pecan pie in bar form, these pecan pie bars are the definition of decadence.
- Keto peanut butter cookies– Crispy, chewy, crunchy, and baked in under 10 minutes.
- Keto sugar cookies– They’re buttery soft yet crisp around the edges, and ready in just 20 minutes.
- Keto blondies– Basically the gooey texture and richness of a brownie, just made with slightly less chocolate (and none of the carbs).
- Keto lemon bars– Featuring a buttery shortbread crust and gooey lemon filling, these bars are a summertime staple in my house.
