These easy dessert recipes all have few ingredients (under 3!) and take seconds to make! No bake desserts, microwave desserts, and more, there are over 50 quick options to try!
As someone with a raging sweet tooth, I definitely enjoy desserts every single night.
Like clockwork, as soon as dinner is done, I’m scrounging through the refrigerator or pantry or kitchen table for something sweet.
Now, Ii I can make a dessert that’s easy, even better. This is why I LOVE desserts with few ingredients, especially if it’s three or less. They are simple enough that anyone can make them and they are QUICK.
What is the simplest type of dessert?
While every recipe here is simple, these cookies are the simplest AND most delicious. They are soft, chewy, and loaded with chocolate chips. Made in just one bowl and ready in just 10 minutes. Here is how to make it.
The Ingredients.
- Peanut butter– Smooth and creamy peanut butter, not the crunchy kind!
- Maple syrup– Either standard maple syrup or sugar free maple syrup.
- Chocolate chips– Any chocolate chips work, including sugar free chocolate chips.
The Instructions.
Start by whisking together the peanut butter and maple syrup until a thick dough remains. Fold through the chocolate chips.
Next, using your hands, shape the dough into a smooth ball. Scoop out balls of the dough and place them on a lined baking sheet. Press down on each one and bake for 8-10 minutes, or until mostly firm around the edges. Remove the cookies from the oven and let them cool completely.
Storing and freezing instructions
- To store: Leftover cookies will keep at room temperature, covered, for up to five days. They can be stored in the refrigerator if you’d like them to keep longer.
- To freeze: Place the cookies in an airtight container and store them in the freezer for up to six months.

When you are bored, try baking something a little different, like a Biscoff cheesecake or a red velvet cake.

I remember seeing many of these the first go round, and I remember thinking…hmmm, I want to eat that. But here’s my question: What if I want a 4-ingredient snack recipe? Am I just out of luck? 🙂
Hahahaha a glass of water can round this out 😀

Oh and MySpace… Those years were the height of my creative energy. So much time spent in there!
Hahaha right? Seriously, the amount of time I spent on there…
So welcome!
Let’s please not forget why I ate it with a fork, okay 😉
Also Myspace… nobody had it back in my teenage years and I can’t say how glad I am. ‘Top Friends’ ranking, how cruel is that?
WHAT! You missed out on all the Myspace dramas! 😀
Haha I don’t even know if most kids nowadays even know what a myspace is. I never had one, and never went on the website so I couldn’t even tell you what it looks like, lol but almost all of my friends growing up did.
hahahaha it was SUCH a time hack!
Does anyone still use My Space? Ugh…I wonder if my profile is flying around there still. Seems like another lifetime doesn’t it?
Haha, it sure does!
I’d have to say that the cereal bars, Paleo cookies and the no bake protein bars are my favorites of the bunch! I just couldn’t get enough of them!! 🙂
😀 Oh yay! So glad you enjoyed them buddy!
Oh my gosh love that your throwing it back to the early 2000’s! I was too young to have a myspace but my older sister was obsessed with it haha. Also the whole army pants and flip-flops thing reminds me of Mean Girls, aka the best movie ever! In fact, I want to watch it right now and make myself some of these delicious three ingredient treats that are freaking GENUIS!
Hahahahaha oh man, now I feel so old! You didn’t miss much with Myspace 😉
